Syrup Happens at Ben and Judy’s Sugarhouse

Back to Top of List

Ben & Judy's Sugarhouse in West Edmeston

📍 West Edmeston, NY
📅 Sat & Sun March 29 & 30
🥞 Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
🎟️ Tours & sweet samples 'til 4:00 p.m.

Ben and Judy are doing the lord’s work out here—serving up a maple breakfast that would make Paul Bunyan weep. We’re talking stacks of pancakes, sizzling sausage, and syrup so fresh it was probably in a tree 20 minutes ago. After you’re sufficiently syrup-drunk, take a tour of the sugarhouse and see how the magic happens. Spoiler: it involves a lot of boiling.

Pro tip: Show up early. Leave full. Come back the next weekend and do it again.

Millers Mills Maple

📍 Richfield Springs, NY
📅 Sat & Sun March 29 & 30
🕙 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This place is pure maple joy. No gimmicks—just real people, real syrup, and real good vibes. Visit the sugarhouse, learn how the sap gets turned into liquid gold, taste a few samples (or ten), and snag a bottle to take home. Or three. No judgment here.

Also, it smells insanely good. Like if a forest and a candy shop had a baby. Check out their Facebook Page!

Farmers Markets for Maple on the Go!

Back to Top of List

Not into the sugarhouse scene? Prefer your syrup in a nice glass bottle, maybe with a side of local jam and a cinnamon bun? We got you.

  • Cooperstown Farmers’ Market – Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Oneonta Farmers’ Market – Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Both markets feature local producers slinging syrup, maple candy, maple mustard, maple BBQ sauce... basically everything but maple-scented cologne (and we’re not totally against that either).
