Goodyear Lake

Located in the town of Milford, just minutes south of Cooperstown on Route 28, the lake is great for public fishing, hand launched boating, and walking trails around the perimeter.  

Celebrating over 100-years of quality, lakeside recreation and living!

Access: 

  • Hand launch (DEC) -Off County Route 35, at end of Silliman Cove Road, Maryland, NY 12116 - 1.3 miles north of NY Route 7.   Parking available for 10 cars.
  • Motorized boats can launch at: 203 Lakeshore Drive North or by using the access point just off Route 28.  It may be best to contact the Goodyear Lake Association for details in advance.
