Arrange for a group visit by calling ahead or visit during the regular open hours to see the home of Troop 1. What differentiates Unadilla's Troop 1 from all the others nationwide is its continuity. Each year, a troop has to file paperwork to renew its charter, and Unadilla has never missed a deadline, earning it the distinction of the oldest continually chartered Boy Scout troop in the United States. The mission of the Unadilla Historical Association: is to save and preserve Unadilla artifacts and histories for generations to come. One of the goals was restoring two of the oldest buildings in town and putting them to use. Comprised of a small group of individuals that want to serve the community and its efforts to keep Unadilla alive and vibrant while keeping an eye on its vast history. Community involvement is important.
