On Thursday, September 20, Hartwick College will host the 6th Annual Hartwick Hawks' Night Fever, a pep rally for the entire College community, in Lambros Arena, Binder Physical Education Center, on the College campus. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the event is free and open to the Oneonta community (College ID required for prizes, shirts, and giveaways).
Hawks' Night Fever VI is presented by the Class Councils, Hartwick College Activities Board (HCAB), The Office of Campus Activities, Student Senate, and Aramark Dining.
Hawks' Night Fever is designed to bring the entire Hartwick campus together for a night of fun and excitement. Returning activities this year include fan favorites such as the dance competition, class-against-class tug of war, musical chairs, and a classic game of Knockout.
This year, four lucky students will get a chance to win $3,000 by sinking a half-court basketball shot. Hartwick's athletic teams will compete this year in the video competitions. The group that best showcases their Hartwick pride and spirit wins the "Best in the Nest" Trophy.
In addition, multiple prizes and gifts will be available to all Hartwick students, staff, and faculty. These include a Keurig, a 32-inch television, Beats by Dre headphones, and gift cards. Free food and t-shirts will be also available to all.
"Hawks Night Fever never fails to bring out the best Hartwick Spirit and pride," said Director of Campus Activities Joshua Nelson. "Students look forward to this event every year - we all do!"
