The Art Garage: Artists' Friday Forum, artists talk about PAINT/CLAY/GLASS & Show Grand Finale
Robert Seward, Lilian Voorhees, David Wilson. Moderator: Dr. Amy Snyder, Pratt Institute.
In conjunction with the first summer show, PAINT / CLAY / GLASS, the Art Garage will offer a series of public programs with a panel. Artists Robert Seward, Lilian Voorhees and David Wilson will discuss their intriguing, divergent processes. Dr. Charles Hyman will serve as moderator to facilitate "a conversation". Seward will talk about his clay biomorph sculptures and experiments with materials and process; Voorhees, her resplendent oil paintings on canvas and wood, in part inspired by the teeming natural world; and Wilson, his stained glass art, which incorporates light and reflections as "materials," represented with stained glass panels, a standing screen and "tower" sculpture.
The free event will be held inside the Main Gallery. Seating is limited. Reservations are recommended but not required.
THE CLOSING PARTY/GRAND FINALE FOR THIS, THE FIRST SUMMER SHOW OF 2018 SEASON WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 6-8PM, ALL ARE WELCOME!
