Cooperstown is a Biker's Dream

Otsego County is home to some of the best biking in New York State – and that includes both road cycling and mountain biking. From the area's cycling routes that traverse the rolling foothills of the Catskill Mountains, to the wooded mountain biking trails of Oneonta fit for knobby-tire enthusiasts of all levels, bikers will delight in the multitude of trails available in the region.

Bike Rentals in the Village of Cooperstown

In partnership with the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce and Woodland Cycles, bike rentals are availble 7 days per week during the summer season at the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce office, located at 31 Chestnut Street. Quantities are limited, so it is recommended you reserve bikes in advance by calling the Chamber of Commerce at (607) 547-9983.

Road Biking

Ride the rolling hills of Otsego County past beautiful meadows and rustic landscapes and discover one of the best ways to explore Cooperstown, Oneonta and other area towns and villages.
