World Series Gala Returns to Hall of Fame Oct. 30 for Game 3 of Fall ClassicOctober 4, 2010 - Fans Can Enjoy the Exciting Matchup Between League Champions in Cooperstown COOPERSTOWN, NY - History will be made at the 2010 World Series. And for the 14th year in a row, fans can watch that history unfold during the Baseball Hall of Fame's annual World Series Gala. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will host the fan-favorite World Series Gala on Oct. 30 in Cooperstown. This family event will feature a live broadcast of Game 3 of the 106 th World Series, which will be played in the American League champions' park and begin at 6:57 p.m. EDT. Doors to the Hall of Fame for the World Series Gala will open at 6 p.m. The fun-filled evening will feature refreshments, trivia, raffles, prizes and more as fans watch the game from the Hall of Fame on the big screen in the Grandstand Theater. The World Series Gala is made possible by the generous support of Price Chopper supermarkets. A ticket is required for this event and costs $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Members may reserve tickets now, and any remaining tickets will be available to non-members on Oct. 25 by calling the Membership department at 607-547-0397. Members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum receive free admission to the Museum, as well as access to exclusive programs, such as the Voices of the Game Series. Additionally, members receive a subscription to the Hall of Fame's bi-monthly magazine, Memories and Dreams, the annual Hall of Fame yearbook and a 10% discount and free shipping on retail purchases. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
