COOPERSTOWN, NY - Located in Hyde Hall's Visitors' Center, Examining the Evidence explores the investigative methods used in rehabilitating a historic house.  It identifies hidden threats that damaged Hyde Hall and highlights the plasterwork, woodwork, and paint analysis needed to return the house to its nineteenth-century splendor.

The exhibit is made possible by the Holbrook Internship Fund and designed by Cooperstown Graduate Program students: Christina Conn, Jennie Davy, and Cynthia Walker.  SUNY Oneonta in partnership with the New York State Historical Association offers a Master's degree in History Museum Studies at the Cooperstown Graduate Program.

Hyde Hall is open for regular tours 7 days a week through October 31^st, 2010.
