FLY CREEK, NY - The Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard will host its 15th Annual Antique Engine Show Saturday and Sunday, August 29 and 30. Single-cylinder gas engine enthusiasts from the region will join together to display their prized antiques from the early 1900's. The Show will also feature the Mill's own collection of vintage equipment.

On Saturday the Mill will hold an inventory reduction tent sale in conjunction with the Fly Creek Community Days area-wide garage sales. Another weekend feature will be a special focused tasting of easy entertaining foods as part of the Mill's Taste of Fly Creek Series. Chef Tom
Eriksen will prepare a focused tasting of Rothschild's Buffalo Bleu Cheese Dip, Blackberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip, Asian Sesame Grill Sauce and Artichoke Dip. All products are easy to prepare and make a wonderful presentation at parties. Special promotions and recipes will be offered.

Saturday will be a bustling day in Fly Creek as the hamlet comes alive with over 50 yard sales, shows and special events spread throughout Fly Creek Valley. The Fly Creek Area Historical Society will be exhibiting Fly Creek artifacts and exhibits in addition to a lunch served at the Old Grange Hall on Cemetery Road. A bake sale will be held at the Methodist church and the Fire Company will put on a Pancake Breakfast. Further north in Fly Creek Valley the Dancing Veggies Farm will hold its annual Garlic Harvest Celebration with many displays of this season's fresh garlic together with garlic specialty products.
