Cooperstown Lakefront Concert Series 2010 Details AnnouncedMay 22, 2010 - 2010 Lakefront Concert Series Announced COOPERSTOWN, NY - The Village of Cooperstown Parks Board announces the line up for its 6th season of concerts at the historic bandstand in Lakefront Park, Cooperstown. Concerts are every Tuesday during July and August at 7pm and admission is free. The schedule is as follows: July 6: Small Town Big Band straight from Cooperstown - 15 piece swing music band featuring modern tunes played the big band style July 13: Cooperstown Community Band entertaining the greater Cooperstown area for 149 years with their patriotic marches, Broadway show tunes, and other favorites. July 20: Sweeter Than Honey - new this season classic rock'n roll with three teenaged siblings out of New Jersey playing tunes like 'Great Balls of Fire', 'Good Lovin', 'I'm a Believer' and more. July 27: First Class a quintet with music from the 1940′s to today- country, Latin American, Big band swing and ballads, pop and rock, jazz,blues,disco, ballroom and Broadway.
August 3: Cooperstown Community Band entertaining the greater Cooperstown area for 149 years with their patriotic marches, Broadway show tunes, and other favorites.
August 10: Stoddard Hollow String Band - new this season based in the upper Catskills and known for its mix of Appalachian old-time tunes,traditional and original music, and some tunes you wouldn't expect from an old time stringband August 17: Sean Fleming Band - new this season performs solo with Celtic Folk songs and music from Ireland and more
August 24: Fritz Henry original songs from his two CDs, "The Survivor" and "Faces and Places," along with his well known interpretations of familiar favorites from Folk, to Country, to Rock and Roll.
August 31: Big Band Easy Money - new this season music starting from the 1920's to modern jazz arrangements this large group of very talented musicians is happy to keep the audience dancing all night and after the show leave them wanting more.
