May 31, 2009 - Belgium Comes To Cooperstown 2009 July 31 - August 2, 2009


COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. - Mark your calendars folks! We're quickly approaching BCTC 2009- "Abbey Road" on July 31st and August 1st. But approaching even more rapidly is April 1st: Tickets go on sale! And this is no April Fool's joke! This will be NOON, APRIL 1st. Tickets will NOT BE SOLD IN OUR WEBSTORE. Click here to enter the ticket vendor site: BCTC Tickets 2009. It will be just like buying Springsteen tickets! (Limit 4 per customer for VIP tix, 10 per customer for Saturday tasting).

All the information we have at this point:

VIP tickets $185- Includes camping Friday and Saturday night, VIP dinner with beer pairings, music, a 750ml bottle of the coveted N'Ice Chouffe and a Chouffe Gnome hat, guest speakers, free taxi service (for the those not camping), and much merriment. Saturday breakfast. Admission to beer tasting Saturday with commemorative glass and all related entertainments on Saturday.

Standard Admission Ticket $70- Includes admission to beer tasting Satruday August 1. Free brewery tours. Live music and entertainment. After-party under the band tent with killer live bands and Ommegang and Duvel USA Imports (Duvel, Duvel Green, Maredsous Abbey ales, Brasserie d'Achouffe ales, and some suprises!). Screening of Beatles movies after dark. Bonfire.

Camping Tickets $30- This is for a CAMPSITE, not per person. If you are travelling with a group, 1 site will accomdate 2 large tents for 2 people each, or 1 RV or camper. If you purchase VIP tickets you DO NOT need to purchase a campsite. We have 135 acres of former farmland that sees some of the most amazing starry nights you can imagine. Fires only in designated areas. BBQs ok.

Friday July 31st details: Multi-course catered dinner with beer pairings. Guest speakers. Live band.

Saturday August 1st details: 12 noon- doors open.
-2-6pm- Belgian and Belgian-style beer tasting. 45-50 breweries and 5+ Belgian Specialy Importers. All in all over 200 beers to sample.
-3 pm- Live music begins (bands and schedule TBA).
-Food vended seperately all day.
-7 pm- Ommegang beer stand opens.
-After dark- Bonfire and Beatles movies.
