Behind-the-Scenes Look at Baseball Hall of FameAugust 19, 2009 - Unique Package Available on Only 10 Select Dates for Baseball Hall of Fame COOPERSTOWN, NY - Fans have a special opportunity to explore the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum through a unique VIP Experience on select dates from October 2009 through May 2010. The two-day event includes a Hall of Fame Sustaining Membership ($100 value), exclusive after-hours access to the Museum on Thursday evening, a Library archive tour and a Museum collections artifact presentation - and concludes with a private late-afternoon reception on Friday with light refreshments served. Available for purchase through select Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce accommodations, the Hall of Fame VIP Experience makes a perfect get-away for you and your family or a great gift for someone special. Dates include: Oct. 29-30 (Postseason Celebration), Nov. 5-6, Nov. 19-20, Feb. 25-26 (Pride and Passion: The African American Baseball Experience), March 11-12 (New York Yankees theme), March 18-19 (Boston Red Sox theme), April 8-9, April 22-23, May 6-7 and May 20-21. Members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum receive free admission to the Museum, as well as access to exclusive programs, such as the Voices of the Game Series. Additionally, members receive a subscription to the Hall of Fame's bi-monthly magazine, Memories and Dreams, the 2009 Hall of Fame yearbook and a 10% discount and free shipping on retail purchases. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Museum is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. seven days a week. The Museum observes off-season hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from the day after Labor Day until Memorial Day Weekend. Ticket prices are $16.50 for adults (13 and over), $11 for seniors (65 and over) and for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations, and $6 for juniors (ages 7-12). Members are always admitted free of charge and there is no charge for children 6 years of age or younger.
