COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. - On Saturday, November 5, the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown will once again opens its doors for another "Night at Our Museum," a celebration of the arts - for families. Activities get underway at 6:00 p.m. and include live music, participatory art experiences, and tours with costumed guides. The event is designed for parents, grandparents, and children - offering a great way to become more comfortable sharing art experiences.

A highlight of the evening will be the performance of "Will & Will," featuring the acoustic duo of Will Walker and Will Green. Their family-friendly renditions of traditional children's classics will entertain and inspire folks young and old to dance, laugh and smile. The performance begins at 6:45 p.m. in the Fenimore Art Museum auditorium.

Visitors also have two opportunities to help solve a museum mystery! Costumed actors will make museum paintings "come alive" in a most entertaining way and offer clues to help resolve the mystery. These highly imaginative tours will run at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. The mystery will be solved in the auditorium at 8:00 p.m.

The following organizational partners will provide interactive experiences during the evening: The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Smithy-Pioneer Gallery, Inc., Cooperstown Art Association, The Glimmerglass Festival, and Cherry Valley Artworks.

"Night at Our Museum" provides wonderful way to bring families together in the lovely setting of the Fenimore Art Museum. Snacks and drinks will be available. Cost: $7.00 (ages 13 and up); Free for children 12 and under and for NYSHA members. No reservations are necessary. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
