Thanksgiving at the Farm

The ideal setting to spend time with family and friends over the holiday weekend.
Friday–Saturday, November 24–25 • 10:00 am–4:00 pm
Admission by donation. All dollar amounts welcome. (Visitors may donate whatever dollar amount they wish to enter the museum during Thanksgiving at The Farm. All proceeds support the museum.)

The museum opens its doors on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving Day (November 24-25 from 10:00 am-4:00 pm) for Thanksgiving at The Farm. The museum is the ideal setting to spend time with family and friends over the holiday weekend. Visit with skilled interpreters and shop for the holidays in Todd's General Store and The Farmers' Museum Store. If you still have an appetite, enjoy food and drink at the museum's Crossroads Café.

Bring the entire family! Kids can catch a glimpse of the heritage-breed turkeys and watch as they are herded across the tavern green, ride the Empire State Carousel, or just enjoy a lively walk around the museum's historic village.

Find beautiful holiday items and greeting cards at The Farmers' Museum Store as well as fascinating items based on the history and culture of New York and rural America - with select items up to 50% off. At Todd's General Store, find items from our region's past that you can't find anywhere else, several made here at the museum. The museum shops are open Tuesday-Sunday (closed Mondays and Thanksgiving Day) from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm through Christmas Eve.

Admission by donation. All dollar amounts welcome.
