GOHS's current exhibit, "The Folks of Homer Folks", tells of the efforts to eradicate tuberculosis and the story of the Homer Folks Tuberculosis Hosptial through memories and artifacts collected by the Oneonta community and GOHS. The Homer Folks TB Hospital, located on the site that is now occupied by Oneonta Job Corps Academy, was a 250-bed hospital campus that was open from 1935 until 1973. Admission to this exhibit is free.
