The Cooperstown Winter Carnival, a long-time traditional winter festival, began in 1967 with the interntion of offering a variety of activities for residents and tourists to Cooperstown during the early winter month of February. The CWC brings people out into the cold and gives them a reason to celebrate with their friends, neighbors, and visitors. Each year the CWC creates new and exciting events, while bringing the same traditions back that people have come to expect.

In 2010, Glier shared stages with such diverse artists as James Taylor, Mark Knopfler, The Verve Pipe, and Edwin McCain. He again toured with McCain in 2011, as well as opening spots for Ani DiFranco across the nation. This is Glier’s third appearance at the Oneonta Theatre. He has appeared as a mainstage artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (NY) and the Kerrville Folk Festival (TX). USA Today recently compared Seth to Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel and recommended his track “Lauralee” on their “Listen Up Playlist” (Feb 2011).
