Cooperstown PumpkinFest

Primary tabs

Unfortunately this event has been discontinued. But don't fret, there are plenty of other great Cooperstown events happening that you won't want to miss!

The Cooperstown PumpkinFest provides a weekend of family fun!  On Saturday, in the Doubleday Field parking lot, pumpkin growers from across the Northeast "weigh-in" with their mighty pumpkins in a contest to see who grew the biggest pumpkin. In addition, there will be a pumpkin carving contest, and a performance of "The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged)" presented by Smithy Center for the Arts.

On Sunday, the pumpkins are hollowed out and "set sail" on Otsego Lake, from Lakefront Park, in the annual Pumpkin Regatta!

Craft and food vendors and childrens games and activities will be going on throughout the day both days, as well as live music on Sunday. Come on out and enjoy this annual Cooperstown tradition!
