Family-friendly entertainment every Tuesday in July and August at the historic bandstand in Lakefront Park.  The Cooperstown Lakefront Concert Series is free and open to the public.  Bringing a lawn chair and/or blanket is recommended, and dancing is strongly encouraged.

2015 Lakefront Concert Series Schedule

  • June 24: The Saints Jazz Quintet Plus One

The group includes George M. Ehrmann, trumpet/flugelhorn, leader; Ed Badgley, tenor, sax, clarinet, soprano sax; Museyb Shareef, trombone and vocals;Tommy Zinis, keyboard; Duke Armstrong, bassist and Kevin Corkery, percussion. This is their 26th year and will be performing an eclectic mix of jazz Standards, Dixieland, Blues, Behop, Latin, The Route 20 song, and Vocals.

  • July 7: Party of Two

A veritable nightclub on wheels, this duo crosses genres, generations & borders with broad appeal.

  • July 14: Cooperstown Community Band

Celebrating 154 years performing patriotic marches, Broadway show tunes, dixieland, jazz, themes & favorites

  • July 21: Bets & Frets

High energery harmonies and cool covers of timeless tunes from the 50's to today, this duo provides the sound of a whole band

This 12 piece group, comprised of people from all walks of life, plays music from the big band era and current tunes in the big band style.
