The first meal served in The Hotel Main Dining Room in 1909 featured caviar canapes, broiled halibut with potatoes Parisiennes, Lamb Chops Monte Carlo, seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits, and desserts like coconut cake and rhubarb pie.
Today, Glimmerglass features a delicious, imaginative and varied daily menu that will appeal to all members of your family, while emphasizing on foods from central New York State.
In season, each day begins with choice of table service or selections from our breakfast buffet in a bright and elegant setting. A sumptuous luncheon buffet is also served with optional seating on the Veranda overlooking the panorama of Lake Otsego and our Leatherstocking Golf Course. The seasonal a la carte dinner menu is accompanied by a selection of fine wines carefully chosen by our Sommelier. The adjacent Lobby is the perfect spot for cocktails and conversation before dinner or a quiet after-dinner cordial. You can also enjoy the beauty of our natural surroundings from the spacious Otesaga Veranda overlooking picturesque Lake Otsego.
